Dear fellow pool player:

Are you up for a small challenge?

Videotape yourself complete the following drill, upload it to a server and submit your video link to us. The first person who has done this will be the winner. At the end of this month, we will make random drawings for 2 additional lucky winners from remain participants. If more than 20 players join, we will give out 2 more prizes to give everyone a better chance to win.

The contest is free for anyone to join. Along with your entry, we will publish your link at the end this page according to the time stamp of email.

After witnessing the high level of execution from players in the World 14.1 Straight Pool Championship last week, we like to send out a small token to encourage people playing better pool. The drill will train you to have better understanding of cue ball control and precise positioning, which are crucial in games like 14.1 straight pool and one pocket.

Let's give it your best shot!

Cheers,

Cuetable

The Drill

L Drill Tony Robles Style

Set up all the object balls in a L shape as shown. Each ball must have a clear passage way to the corner pocket. Shoot the balls directly into the corner pocket in sequential order (1 ball, 2 ball, 3 ball... all the way up to 15 ball). Cue ball can touch only one ball at a time. You have ball in hand to start.

If you are left-handed, you can use the layout on page 2 of the table. (Use the page arrows at the lower right side to advance)

You can use the table's screen capture function and print out the picture. For information on how to do this, please view:

HowTo: Lesson 8: Imaging and Printing

Rules

This drill must be done on a regular 9 foot pool table with 4 1/2 inch pockets (2 balls width) and standard sized heavy balls (Brunswick Centennial or Super Aramith).
