ESPN 3-Cushion Grand Master

03.2007 - 07.2007
The billiard fans around the world have been enjoying two artistic 3-cushion billiard contests as Eric Yow and Mike Massey challenged Semih Sayginer to a judged contest during the ESPN filming of "3-Cushion Grandmaster".

CueTable is honored to be part of this wonderful event. In the preproduction stage we have worked closely with all participants to save their own layouts. At the time of the event, the layouts were presented to the competition judges in CueTable format on a big monitor.

Between June and December 2006, we have hosted 6 CueTable Monthly Challenges for online billiard communities.

At the beginning of each month we would post a specific layout from CueTable.com. Participants would then videotape themselves trying the shot and upload it to YouTube. We would award them with Tiger Billiard Product Gift Certificates based on their submission time and scores achieved.

Project La Fortune

08.2006
American surreal artist Man Ray's 1938 painting, "La Fortune" depicts a giant billiard table that projects into a sky rampant with stagy, cotton-candy clouds.

This master piece has been talked about numerous times in art history. However, the shot itself has rarely been discussed. At Sang Lee International 2006, we have recieved some interesting solutions from sixteen world class players and enthusiatists.

Weingartner Billiard Program Blog

06.2006
Weingartner Billiard Program was created by Mr. Heinrich Weingartner approximately 50 or 60 years ago.

The blog contains 76 shots diagrammed into CueTable format. The program carries a similar format to the Artistic Billiard competition. A lot of this knowledge could transfer over well to some pool games such as one pocket, 9-ball and straight pool where precise control of driven balls.
